We are launching our call for applications forHeroes 2027: artist residencies at Casa Snowapple (Coyoacán, Mexico City) from March through November 2027. This call is open to women artists and artists from the LGBTQIA+ community, regardless of nationality, discipline, or experience level, whether applying individually or as a group (up to 6 people).
Who embodies heroism today? With Heroes, our 2027 curatorial theme, we invite you to reimagine the heroic figure: far from the myth of the lone savior, we believe that the true compass of heroism lies in collective care, shared responsibility, and community. We are seeking projects that celebrate everyday heroism: that of ordinary people—often invisible and imperfect—who choose every day to work together to build a more just and compassionate world.
