Hannah van Binsbergen
July 7 to 20
Netherlands

Hannah van Binsbergen's work explores the radical potential of language and society, as well as the economic forces that impede its realization. Through speculative narrative and experimental use of language, she attempts to develop a kind of literary democracy in which the reader's sensual imagination is an integral part of the work. His first collection, Kwaad gesternte (Unlucky Star, 2016), was followed by the novel Harpie (Harpie, 2020), where the devil provides a hopeful narrative. Her collection of poems Kokanje (Cockaigne, 2022) deals with fantasies of abundance. Hannah van Binsbergen was founding editor of the journal Jacobin Netherlands.
