Elaine Vilar Madruga (Havana, 1989). Narrator, poet and playwright. She is considered one of the most important literary voices in Cuba and the Caribbean today. Her books have been published in the United States, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Spain, Chile, France, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Denmark, Panama, Brazil and Russia. In Mexico: the novels La tiranía de las moscas ( Polilla, 2024) and El cielo de la selva ( Elefanta, 2024). 

Elaine Vilar Madruga's texts seek points of union between terror and lyric in a constant reflection on the systems of power and the limits of the body.
