Anni Garza Lau is a media artist whose practice focuses on human-machine interactions at different levels, paying special attention to the social, affective and political effects of the use of different technologies. Her work has been selected internationally in different festivals such as FILE (Brazil), ISEA (Canada), ADAF (Greece), Gwangju Media Arts Festival (South Korea), among others. She is part of the National System of Art Creators in Mexico and has also been supported as part of the Young Creators programs (FONCA) and by the Carrillo Gil Art Museum / BBVA Foundation. She is winner of the Julio Torri electronic literature award (Mexico) and in 2023 she organized the twentieth edition of the 404th International Festival of Art and Technology (Argentina-Mexico). Anni has also worked as a teacher, curator, juror and tutor for different programs in Mexico.
