Anni Garza Lau (Mexico, 1983) is an interdisciplinary artist and programmer. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from UAEM (Morelos, Mexico) and UPV (Valencia, Spain). Her practice focuses on questioning the use of technological devices in everyday life and their effects on the shaping of identity, privacy, social behavior and perception of reality. Through the design of interfaces, and the use of textiles, drawing, video and performance, her works provide experiences whose purpose is to promote a transversal dialogue between art, science, culture, technology and humanity. He is particularly interested in the development of posthuman identity.
