Alara Adilow is a queer writer of Somali descent. She is a columnist for Elders literary magazine. In 2022 she won the El Hizrja prize for prose, was selected For the Public in Residence for the queer and transgender community at Museum Arnhem, and had her debut collection Mythen published in Stoplights.
