Agustina San Martín and Florencia Martínez
June 2 to June 30
Uruguay

Florencia Martínez Aysa and Agustina San Martín, visual artists trained at the Faculty of Arts of UDELAR and teachers graduated from IPA, form a collective that integrates feminist and ecological perspectives to explore gender, sexuality and territory. Their work combines disciplines such as printmaking, photography, video and installation, addressing migration, uprooting and resistance. They use botany as a metaphor, intertwining the natural environment with lesbian identities and weaving narratives of memory, trauma and adaptation. Together they completed a postgraduate degree in Art, Communication and Memory at FLACSO. They have won awards, scholarships and funds, as well as participated in residencies, solo and group exhibitions in Uruguay and abroad.
