From January 20 to February 2, 2025, the fifth literary residency will take place at the feminist and multidisciplinary artists' house, Casa Snowapple MX.

Seven acclaimed writers of recognized talent come together from within Mexico and different countries of the world to live and write under the same roof for a short and intense two-week period. This International Women Writers Residency brings together feminist writers with an activist vision and a taste for literary experimentation. The goal is to spark dialogue and recognition, and to help build lasting connections across borders. The Casa has an affinity for alternative/speculative fiction and literary investigations of human connections to the wild. Participants often explore issues of belonging, femininity, and queer/trans identities in their work. The next residency will investigate these themes in relation to the idea of nature and natural history as a space for art and activism.
