Dance

Addressed to:

People who wish to gain self-confidence, get rid of their complexes, free themselves from the dictates of the heteropatriarchal urban capitalist society and represent feminist issues through burlesque dance.

-Interest in dancing in high heels (8 cm high, preferably).

-Any level of knowledge in burlesque (from beginners to experts).

-Teacher: Juliette Dragon, artist in residence at Casa Snowapple during the month of April, started in the South of France as a drag queen in a queer collective, then created her company Le Cabaret des Filles de Joie in 2003, the first new burlesque cabaret company in France, and then her School of Filles de Joie in 2008, where she taught the disciplines of burlesque striptease as a powerful feminist art therapy to tens of thousands of women in France, Europe, Australia, China and the United States. In 2022, she published her book La Fabrique des Pures Meufs with Harper&Collins, a small punk feminist manifesto where she describes her pedagogy. For the last three years, she has been living between Berlin and Paris.
