From March 17-30, 2025, Aterno will bring its exploration of movement to a unique artistic residency at Casa Snowapple. The principle of this partnership is to operate as a laboratory for stage and body research, using this space as a meeting point for artistic experimentation and exchange. For two weeks, the performers will explore new forms of interaction between body, memory and environment, culminating in an immersive performance that will lead the audience to be an active part of this sensory experience. Under the central question. "How to hold weight?" the research will revolve around the body's resistance, both physically and emotionally. Addressing themes such as the burden of memory, the act of letting go, and the interconnectedness of individual stories within a collective context and the commonalities this generates with our ecosystem. This process will be materialized in a series of performances open to the public where the space will be transformed into a stage without barriers between artists and spectators.
